24th March 2010 BETTER WORDS TRAINING: Below are a few photographs of Cluster schools participating in our first Better Words Cluster training. Sue Kelsall and Andrea Bridgewater having been trained by ROWA! of Derbyshire successfully delivered a great session at the Longton CLC.

24th September 2009 LIBRARY BOOKS: Schemes of interest for children
1. Chatterbooks: Run by community librarians in your school for pupils in years 3 and 4 for up to 12 children. Read together, story sessions, group discussion, craft activity. Children are able to take a book home which is then used for discussion at the next session. Options: run as an hour long after school activity or potentially during school hours. A member of staff must be in attendance with the library.
